The Lawn Sessions is an independently curated music series that exists to spotlight emerging talent—think up-and-coming songwriters, independent bands, and local legends in the making. If you're creating something special and looking for a stage that celebrates originality, we want to hear from you!

Our goal is to amplify fresh voices from Tennessee and beyond—and that starts with discovering the right artists. To be considered for booking, we use the Tennessee Entertainment Commission’s Real Music Directory as our primary talent resource.

✨ How to Get on Our Radar

Getting considered is simple (and free!):

• Create a profile in the Real Music Directory, a no-cost platform by the Tennessee Entertainment Commission that promotes and connects musicians and music professionals across the state.

• Build It Out—List your credits, genres, media, and anything else that shows us who you are.

​

• Send Us the Link—Once your profile is live, share your listing with our talent team. We’ll verify it and make sure you're added to our catalog of artists for upcoming Lawn Sessions booking consideration.

Why the Real Music Directory?

This isn’t just another signup list. The Real Music Directory was created by the official state entertainment office to support Tennessee’s vibrant creative community. It helps industry leaders, event organizers (like us!), and music lovers connect directly with real talent.

Here’s What You’ll Need

• Basic contact info (open to all TN-based musicians and licensed music businesses)

• At least one project credit and your genre(s)

• Details about your work, skills, equipment, and affiliations

• Optional uploads: resume, headshots, logo, or press materials

Every submission is reviewed by Commission staff for eligibility and credibility—so you’ll be part of a vetted network once approved. We can’t wait to discover your sound.
